Training Includes: Round-trip airport ground transport (SJO), 4 nights lodging at Villa Diosas,, Stand-Up Stand-Up Paddle Board rental, DragonFLYoga Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga Teacher Training, 2 Ayurvedic Cooking Classes, evening Ceremony/Workshops with Guest Teachers, DragonFLYoga's Practitioners Manual and a celebratory departure breakfast on our final morning.

Non-Residents $775.00 with your own accommodations. We recommend Selina Hostel or Hostel Plinio or any hotel/hostel close to Gaia Hotel in Manuel Antonio. If staying off-site, you will be responsible for your transportation for meet-ups. Taxis and buses are available and very reasonable.

TEACHER TRAINING COURSE DESCRIPTION AND CURRICULUM
DragonFLYoga's Level I Stand-Up Paddle Board Training will teach you the fundamentals of practicing and teaching yoga on a Stand-Up Paddle Board in multiple water locations. We will practice daily on the warm rivers and oceans of Costa Rica, enjoy Costa Rica's wilderness, healthy eating, epic sunsets, exquisite beaches and fellow yogis. You will learn the basics of handling and care of Stand-Up Paddle Boards, in addition to SUP Yoga asana and sequencing. Optional Teacher Training Certification gives you the opportunity to practice teach with a built-in audience. Learn to practice safely, play adventurously and, if you choose, pay it forward by effectively teaching to your yoga students back home!
YOGA TEACHERS: This is a demanding course. In these 5 days of training with an exceptional team of teachers and peers, you will explore techniques and practice teaching on and off the healing waters of Costa Rica.

About Heidi Michelle
As a personal development and awareness facilitator from 1995 to 2002, Heidi’s passion for empowering people emerged. She has been guiding, teaching, and leading, in one form or another, ever since.
In 1998, Heidi Michelle first stepped onto a yoga mat and has been teaching yoga since 2008. Initially inspired by Kundalini yoga, she soon discovered Baron Baptiste and Power yoga. Heidi’s teachers include Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea and Anand Mehrotra. She studied extensively with Elysabeth Williamson, creator of Principle-Based Partner Yoga, and has been teaching Partner Yoga since 2009.
The addition of Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga to her personal practices and teachings has been an extreme delight! Offering retreats, workshops and trainings in the United States, India, Mexico and Costa Rica, her yogic teachings feature a dharma-rich, gently demanding practices with an emphasis on yoga as a practice ground for life.
About Victoria Hughes
With 35 years experience with conscious energy work, 20 years experience with clinical health education teaching and spiritual guidance, and 16 years practicing yoga, Victoria holds a sacred, safe and loving space for the expression of your highest self to flow.
In 1980, at the age of 10, Victoria bowed into her first martial arts studio and her conscious relationship with energy, mind and body began. Today, her diverse teachings include Hatha, Ashtanga, Raja, Bhakti, Kundalini, White Tantra and Transformational Healing Yoga and she is a Certified SUP Yoga Instructor living in Costa Rica.
Victoria’s science degree and nursing career specialty in intensive care gave her a strong background in patho-physiology which she applies as an intuitive healer to guide the cellular and energetic process. Inspired to live a magical, conscious, natural and chemical free life, Victoria is of service to empower and educate others on a healing path.

About Matea Zajec
Matea Zajec of Hari Om Yoga and Ayurveda found yoga in her native country of Croatia during her teen years, and her love for the practice sparked immediately.
Growing up with an Ayurvedic therapist and a healer mother, she gained access to healing arts and practices very early on. She took the first initiation in Reiki at age 16 and began practicing yoga and assisting her mother in Ayurvedic treatments soon thereafter.
Today, she is a Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Ist level practitioner, uses a variety of modalities in her one-on-one work, sound healing with Tibetan singing bowls, aerial yoga and traditional hatha/vinyasa style yoga.
Matea holds a BA in Eastern Religions. Her love for travel and cultural immersion has taken her to India, Belgium, Colombia, Miami, and San Francisco for pilgrimage and study, earning certifications along the way. She holds two 200-hour Yoga Alliance certifications, in Vinyasa and Alignment-based Hatha (Anusara), a SUP Yoga Teaching Certification through DragonFLYoga and is an Aerial Yoga Instructor. She blogs about yoga, wellness, nutrition, healthy vegan and raw food recipes and her passion for running at Girl in The Raw.
Matea continues to travel and teach in Florida, Costa Rica and Mexico, currently residing in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

ARRIVAL: Please land at San Jose International Airport (SJO) on arrival day no later than 1:00pm to clear customs and meet the 3:00pm shuttle.
DEPARTURE: The shuttle to SJO will depart Villa Diosas at 11:00am on the final day of your retreat. Make your departing flight on departure day no earlier than 5:00pm.

• Insect repellent (if you are prone to insect bites, Deet/Off is recommended)
• Hiking/walking shoes
• ONLY biodegradable soaps, shampoos, etc.
• Organic Sunscreen (we recommend Garden Goddess)

• Books, music, crafts, art projects or any other items that you love to fill your days with
• Bathing suit/clothes for water (Bathing suit/swimming clothes (this can include long pants or shorts)
• Rash guard/long sleeve water shirts
