ABOUT HEIDI MICHELLE: Heidi Michelle first stepped onto a yoga mat in 1998 and has been teaching yoga since 2008. Initially inspired by Kundalini yoga, she soon discovered Baron Baptiste and Power yoga. Heidi’s teachers include Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea and Anand Mehrotra. She studied extensively with Elysabeth Williamson, creator and founder of Principle-Based Partner Yoga™, and has been teaching Partner Yoga since 2009, most recently leading Partner Yoga Teacher Trainings. As a personal development and awareness facilitator from 1995 to 2002, Heidi’s passion for empowering people emerged. She has been guiding, teaching, and leading, in one form or another, ever since. Offering retreats, workshops and trainings in the United States, India, Mexico and Costa Rica, her yogic teachings feature a dharma-rich, gently demanding Vinyasa-flow practice with an emphasis on yoga as a practice ground for life.
ABOUT HEIDI GRACE: As a yogini and an artist, Heidi Grace inspires us to explore yoga as an applied lifestyle, making art with our lives and relaxing into our Divine Self. Through the dance of balancing the body, mind and spirit she guides us toward harmonizing our inner truth with our actions and experiences.
Utilizing therapeutics, Heidi Grace’s gentle and restorative approach to the yoga practice incorporates energy work, flower essences, mantra, yantra painting, gemology, astrology, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), as well as Yoga Nidra.
Heidi Grace received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica in 2009. She also has 108 hours of training in the heart oriented method of Anusara. In 2013, she completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Brenna Geehan and Jean Mazzei of SriYoga in San Francisco.
It is Heidi’s vision to share the layers of yoga
that will help individuals to exist in total freedom.
“Heidi teaches yoga that works for young and old, experienced or novice. If you can’t quite get the pose she offersan easier way. Alternately if you are accomplished in yoga she offers a more advanced way. The breath work and the intention add to the spiritual effect of the class. Heidi’s classes work for me especially as I age. Her yoga classes keeps me strong and limber. She deals with the entire body both physically and spiritually. I have learned so much from Heidi’s yoga classes. Not only how to assume poses with the proper alignment, but she always has useful tips for my home practice.” Warmly, Barbara Kopitz
